Suzhou No.1 Silk Factory Renovation
Founded in 1926, the Suzhou No.1 Silk Factory is the oldest silk reeling enterprise in China. Centered on the vision of "revitalizing industrial heritage and leading cultural trends," the renovation project involves a planned investment of RMB 500 million. It will preserve five historic buildings and create a cultural plaza around 28 century-old trees.
The site will feature six key functional zones, including an industrial heritage exhibition hall and a new media silk culture center. Through digital empowerment and innovative business models, the project will introduce international trendsetting brands and build a closed-loop ecosystem of culture and technology. The result will be a cultural and creative park where traditional heritage and contemporary lifestyle coexist in harmony, with its grand opening expected in 2026.
