Baotou Rule of Law Park
公园里的诗意与烟火As a traditional industrial city, Baotou is undergoing a transformation in its urban development, urgently requiring an update to its urban landscape. The site, once an epitome of Baotou, is now in decline. To reverse this trend, the design takes a multidimensional approach, exploring the symbiotic relationship between people, nature, and community, while offering an effective strategy to reintegrate the existing order.
By respecting the current site conditions, the goal is to enhance community vitality and improve urban ecology. The design organizes and reimagines the existing landscape elements, reconstructing the spatial framework and atmosphere to establish a strong sense of place. The revitalized park now serves as a dynamic and sustainable space.
Through participatory design, multi-party collaboration, and sustainable maintenance by local residents, the project has yielded comprehensive benefits across ecological, community, social, and urban dimensions. This has contributed to the broader city upgrade and fostered the organic, long-term renewal of Baotou.
