Xianyuan Road Pocket Park, Wuxi
Located at the intersection of Datong Road and Xianyuan Road in Wuxi, the Xianyuan Road Pocket Park is a true “pocket space” within the city. Covering an area of 3,784 square meters, the site was formerly used as a parking lot—an overlooked urban leftover now surrounded by high-quality residences, resettlement housing, and aging neighborhoods, with a high flow of residents.
With the concept of "folding and layering," the design reimagines the site as a “New Community Ground · Folded Life,” aiming to create a new social core that draws people in and serves as a vibrant energy hub for the community. It seeks to reshape the neighborhood into a space of diversity, intimacy, and harmony—offering residents delightful surprises at the turn of a corner, where a hidden pocket space awaits.
