One Palace, Chongqing
The project is located in Nanping, a traditional commercial district in Chongqing, covering an area of 2,299 m². Through the use of simple geometric forms, the design revitalizes the old city with a sense of contemporary energy. Modern and minimalist design language is employed to craft a dramatic spatial experience that inspires people to envision and pursue a better life. Drawing from the traditional spatial technique of "opening and closing," the design introduces a three-stage sequence of dramatic experiences. Inspired by Escher's Impossible World, the interplay of geometric patterns and minimalist aesthetics creates an illusion of infinite spatial extension.
