Huaron Wei Jia Ecological Park
农耕家园与“乡愁”The site is surrounded by terraced fields, with its former use as a fish pond and farmland, creating a rich rural ambiance that naturally integrates with the surrounding villages.
The design revolves around the themes of liangpi (a traditional noodle dish) and creative agriculture, respecting the site's natural landscape and agricultural foundation. The approach minimizes earthwork excavation by utilizing local plants and building materials, and the architectural planning focuses on vernacular architecture and earth-covered structures, reflecting the spirit of "agricultural homes and nostalgia."
By exploring the relationship between food security and the spatial connection between users and nature, we aim to propose design solutions that align with both modern demands and human needs. The goal is to create a landscape that meets the evolving requirements of the times while preserving the essence of the region's agricultural roots.
